your home for a night or three

The Cottage

An intimate cottage for two, brimming with curated antiques, cosy linens and objects of playfulness. No detail has been spared.

Your favourite room, for a few days

The kind of place you sink into

Step inside and the world gets quieter. This is a space made for lingering: soft light, warm layers, and a bed you won’t want to leave. Curl up with a book, pull the blanket over your knees, and let the afternoon do as it pleases.

Everything here has been chosen with care, from the antique finds to the little touches you’ll notice slowly. It’s the sort of cottage that reveals itself over a couple of days, which is exactly why most of our guests wish they’d booked a second night.

Just outside

Your own patch of the farm

Behind the cottage is a fenced area that’s yours alone, with views out over the front paddocks. Sit with your coffee and watch the day unfold: the goats grazing up to the fence to say hello, the ducks and chooks pottering about, the light shifting across the hills.

There’s a fire pit, picnic tables, and rota tennis when you fancy it. Just let us know if you’d like the fire going and we’ll check the local restrictions and set you up with the right wood and kindling.

Good to know

A few honest details

We’re on the edge of town heading toward the Dial Range, so you’ll hear a little traffic. You’ll also hear the dawn chorus, which more than makes up for it.

A train passes through before dawn. It won’t wake you. It’s just a quaint little toot in the distance.

At night, pademelons, wallabies, possums, potoroos and bandicoots visit the gardens from the bush reserve. Keep an eye out.

Our dogs, Orla the beagle and Shinobi the Maremma, wander between the homestead and the yard. They may come and say hello.

The cottage sleeps two. It’s built for couples.
